New work, old mediumEvery culture has its mythical creatures and my new work explores icons from ancient Greece and Egypt as well as modern notions of inanimate objects imbued with human characteristics. I've fired up my kiln for the first time in years and busted out some porcelain sculptures.

We are super excited to be participating in the Holidazzle festival in Minneapolis during the holiday season! Our first night was a big success as temperatures dipped into the teens and people were loving the gorgeous Moshiki hats, hand warmers and of course the Hot Cookies and knit skirts.
I made a needle felted wool sheep's head from the wool of a sheep named Katarina. Our Katarina hangs over our fireplace and turned out to be a popular attraction in our booth as people took "selfies" with our mascot.
Such a fun evening and we'll be back at it for 14...
As you can imagine, almost everyone in the region has suffered devastating losses and most are without homes. With monsoon season coming, the situation becomes even more serious.
Three of our lines - the hand knitwear, the organic cotton clothing and our felt line - are produced in the Kathmandu Valley. We are committed to supporting the women and men who make these wonderful pieces for us as they rebuild their lost homes and disrupted lives.
